WHAT IS THE KEY MESSAGE FOR THIS LUNAR CYCLE?
15. Igniting my Joy – Attuning to the highest good in myself and others ignites my natural joy.
What brings you joy? What nourishes you?
If I were to ask you to write a list of 10 things that bring you joy and nourish you, is it easy or difficult for you to write it down?
And if I were to ask you, how many hours a day do you dedicate to the things that bring you joy, would that answer be all the time, 5 hours, 1 hour, or none at all?
In this lunar cycle, we are reminded to focus on the things that bring us joy. One question that I had, prior to writing this blog, was that with so much suffering and chaos happening in the world and around us, how could we still be joyous?
Then I stumbled upon this podcast by one of my favorite spiritual teachers Gabby Bernstein, called “How to Take Care of Your Energy in Times of Crisis”, and she said that joy is our superpower. Because by focusing on what brings us joy, it sends a healing ripple effect out to the world. We are holding light not just for ourselves but for others in the world who are suffering.
The old saying goes, if you don’t fill up your own cup first, then how can you fill others?
The color of this card is filled with warm colors. Not only does joy fills up our own well, the light of joy shines like the warm golden sun and nourishes everything around us.
The woman’s eyes are closed in this card, reminding us that happiness indeed comes from within. If we attach our happiness to something external, for example this other person must do something to make me happy, or I must have this or that before I can be happy or relax, then it is time to re-examine our own beliefs and the stories we tell ourselves.
Ask yourself, what is your true source of joy?
The true source of joy brings us back to our heart center, to open our hearts even more and to receive and give with love.
If the answer is something external, look closer to the words we use. In my case, I used to think that my children are my source of joy. But when I reflect deeper, this means that I impose certain expectations on my children that somehow their actions would need to bring me joy. So now I change it to having quality bonding time with my children brings me joy.
What used to bring you joy may change too. And it is okay. We are constantly changing and evolving, and what brought you joy one year ago may not apply to you today. This lunar cycle is a good opportunity to reflect on what you feel resonated in the here and now, and let go of what no longer sparks joy in your life.
Now that you have a list of at least 10 things that bring you joy, commit to doing at least one of these 10 things on a daily basis. Serve yourself a dose of joy every day and see what magic it brings.
May you find what you brings you joy and may your joy shines more light to the world.
Repeat this affirmation as often as you need during this lunar cycle. A great tip is to write your affirmation on a piece of paper and place it somewhere you can see every day as a reminder.
You can refer to my blog here at Museflower’s webpage on a simple guideline on how to write your own affirmation.
Feel free to change the words to make it 100% aligned to you.
For example,
My life is sweet.
I can have fun.
I nourish myself with joy.
My life brings me joy.
I enjoy the sweet moments of my life.
I recognize that my interpretation of the cards is largely based on reflections of my personal life experience and you may or may not resonate with what I share. I find that sometimes by sharing what’s going on in my life, others may find that they are going through something similar in their lives. It’s important to know that you are not going through this journey of life alone.
I highly encourage you to look at the cards as well and feel into the messages and energies of the cards yourself.
Read the messages and notice what sensations come up. Do you feel light or tense? Look at the images of the cards, and notice what draws your gaze. What thoughts and feelings arise? Do you like or dislike the card, or certain elements in the image of the card? Why is that and what does it remind you of?
Your intuition is your inner compass. My intuitive soul card reading only serves as a reference point, an invitation for you to reflect and ponder and to work your magic. I don’t claim to predict the future, nor can I do that. Take what you resonate and leave what you don’t.
Card reading is a great intuitive tool for us to find some clarity and guidance in our own life, but remember ultimately you are the one who get to decide and live the life you want.
Enjoy reading and feel free to let me know your thoughts, questions and sharing by email.
