Card Deck: Soulful Woman Guidance Cards by Shushann Movsessian & Gemma Summers

44. Inner Guidance System – The best answers always come from the calm, radiant place within me. I wait for these with joy.

In this lunar cycle we are being called to tap into the abundant of resources within us to help us on our journey.

In one of my posts on Museflower Retreat & Spa’s blog about “Getting Started with Your First Superpower – Meditation”, I mentioned about our superpowers – meditation, imagination and intuition. Besides these three, we have many more superpowers, such as healing (yes your body is constantly healing itself, isn’t it), joy (it’s contagious!), and vulnerability (you inspire others when you open up).

Of course, all these superpowers are interconnected with one another. The more we meditate, the quieter our mind becomes in order to listen to our intuition. The more we engage our imagination to envision the life we want, the easier it is to open up to new possibilities and say yes to new adventures.

And when new opportunities present themselves, we can tune into our intuition again and make sure we are making choices that are aligned with our heart and soul.

In this lunar cycle, we are invited to close our eyes and put our intuition first.

To me, intuition is one way how our soul and the Universe speak to us. When we tune into our intuition, gut feeling, sixth sense or instinct, we are paying attention to what our true selves are telling us.

In the world overloaded with information nowadays, our intuition is the number 1 best filter to find what we need and what’s right for us. Plus it’s free and you can never lose it!

So now we know the importance of listening to our intuition, how can we tap into the resources within us?

Let’s talk about our inner resources.

First of all, our body knows how to heal and provides all the resources we need for that. For example, when you bleed, your body knows how to stop the bleeding. So listen to your body. Where are you storing tension? What food are you craving? What is your pain or sickness inviting you to do more? Is it rest, exercise, or time to take a pause to reflect on your lifestyle choices?

Besides your body, your emotions also serve as a great resource to indicate what is aligned and what is not in your life. Is there something that excites you? If so, how can you bring more of that into your life? Or is there something that frustrates or stresses you out? If so, what is your stress pointing you towards? What is it that you need to look at to make changes in your life?

Our anger and frustration are not the enemy, nor are the things, people or circumstances triggering these feelings. They can show us what we are not satisfied with and then bring our focus back to what we can do.

A good question to reflect on is this:

If I cannot change the world or that person or the situation, what can I change within myself?

Perhaps it calls for a new way of expressing your need, a time to communicate your boundaries clearer, or to walk away from something that no longer aligns with you.

Last but not least it’s our intuition – the best resource we can have. Intuition often comes as a deep sense of knowing that we cannot explain with logic, and depending on what each person’s dominant psychic sense is, our intuition speaks to each of us in a different way.

For someone who is highly visual, perhaps his/her intuition will speak to them through impressions of images. For someone who is sensitive to touch, then his/her intuition may come as body sensations.

The Universe will show us signs through our intuition too.

Perhaps your eyes are drawn to a particular book, and then you open the page and read a sentence that is exactly what you need to hear that day.

Perhaps you feel curious and type in something in Google, and find a website that interests you. And when you click inside, you find the answer to your question. That was how I found the online course on chanting that changed my life.

One distinct difference between the voice of our intuition and the voice of our ego is that intuition comes from the heart space, and ego comes from the mind. Intuition comes from a space of love and the feeling radiates from your heart center (here we refer to the energetic center of your heart which is the middle of your chest). On the other hand, our thoughts and the voice of our ego come from our headspace.

I shared more details on how our intuition sounds like in a 8-minute video I posted a few year ago for Soul Bliss Retreats if you want to watch here.

If you are struggling on making a decision or feel stuck, most likely it’s because your mind tells you one thing and your heart feels another. Sometimes the best way is to wait and sleep on it. Trust your intuition, and trust that the Universe always has your back. And trust that the answer will come at the right time.

Our body, emotions and intuition are all part of our inner guidance system, a compass pointing us the way to go that is aligned with our heart, soul and Spirit.

We will also meet many teachers in the external world to help and support us. The teachers may come in a form as a person, but they can also come in a form as an animal, or any elements in Nature such as flowers, plants, stars, oceans and mountains.

So pay attention to your intuition this lunar cycle. It is time to acknowledge the resourcefulness of our inner guidance system, and give your intuition the attention it deserves.

Daily Reflection: Today my intuition is showing me to ___________.

Try This Affirmation
I have an abundant of resources within me to support me.

Repeat this affirmation as often as you need during this lunar cycle. A great tip is to write your affirmation on a piece of paper and place it somewhere you can see every day as a reminder.

You can refer to my blog here at Museflower’s webpage on a simple guideline on how to write your own affirmation.

Feel free to change the words to make it 100% aligned to you.

For example,

I can trust my intuition.

I trust the answer to […your question / problem…] will come in the right time.

My body knows how to heal itself.

Anger [or other emotions] is my ally [ teacher / friend].

I feel safe knowing that my intuition is here to serve me for my highest good.

I recognize that my interpretation of the cards is largely based on reflections of my personal life experience and you may or may not resonate with what I share. I find that sometimes by sharing what’s going on in my life, others may find that they are going through something similar in their lives. It’s important to know that you are not going through this journey of life alone.

I highly encourage you to look at the cards as well and feel into the messages and energies of the cards yourself.

Read the messages and notice what sensations come up. Do you feel light or tense? Look at the images of the cards, and notice what draws your gaze. What thoughts and feelings arise? Do you like or dislike the card, or certain elements in the image of the card? Why is that and what does it remind you of?

Your intuition is your inner compass. My intuitive soul card reading only serves as a reference point, an invitation for you to reflect and ponder and to work your magic. I don’t claim to predict the future, nor can I do that. Take what you resonate and leave what you don’t.

Card reading is a great intuitive tool for us to find some clarity and guidance in our own life, but remember ultimately you are the one who get to decide and live the life you want.

Enjoy reading and feel free to let me know your thoughts, questions and sharing by email.
