KEYWORD FOR THIS LUNAR CYCLE:
BIRTH
“Kiss a lover,
Dance a measure,
Find your name
And buried treasure.
Face your life,
It’s pain,
It’s pleasure,
Leave no path untaken.”
― Neil Gaiman, Author of The Graveyard Book

WHAT IS THE KEY MESSAGE FOR THIS LUNAR CYCLE?
48. Clitoris – Pleasure is my birthright course
In this lunar cycle, we are reminded that we are here to experience joy and pleasure.
It’s interesting that the theme for this lunar cycle is “Birth” and the card message is very much connected to the deep sense of joy from birth.
Life can be a delightful experience, and it’s time to reclaim our pleasure fully and to release any shame around it.
Through bliss, we can reach union with the Divine. And with this new lunar cycle, the theme “Birth” gives a sense of starting something new.
How can you begin to cultivate more joy in your life? How can you give yourself permission to embrace pleasure with awareness?
In the card the woman has her eyes closed and she is nourished from the flower petals above. The flower petals are then connected to a mandala symbol glowing with light. Often we seek pleasure outside of us, but this image is a reminder for us to bring all the feelings of pleasure back into our body, allowing that feeling to truly nourish and fill up our inner well.
Sometimes in order to protect ourselves from feeling hurt or disappointment, we tend to expect the worst. So when something miraculous happens, instead of enjoying the moment, we wait for the other shoe to drop. We tell ourselves that good things don’t last, so don’t be overjoyed or expect too much.
When we look at the cycles at Mother Nature, we can find the answer. If we associate pleasure as the equivalent of day time, and imagine if the sun is up for 24 hours, we will soon be tired. We will soon crave to rest in the dark, so our bodies and minds can regenerate and reset, and be ready for the new day ahead. So such is the cycle of life, and it is completely natural to have ups and downs. There will be days filled with fun and bliss, and there will be days filled with challenges and obstacles.
There is no other moment than the present. When pleasure arises, fully embrace it. Know that pleasure come in waves. Pleasure doesn’t last forever, yet it can come again just like a wave.
Lose yourself in pleasure but do not be attached to the outcome or the need for it. Just like we know the sun will rise after dark, remember that living life with pleasure is possible on the horizon for you and me.
Daily Reflection: Today, I find pleasure in ____________.
Repeat this affirmation as often as you need during this lunar cycle. A great tip is to write your affirmation on a piece of paper and place it somewhere you can see every day as a reminder.
You can refer to my blog here at Museflower’s webpage on a simple guideline on how to write your own affirmation.
Feel free to change the words to make it 100% aligned to you.
For example,
My life can be pleasurable.
I can enjoy myself.
I embrace pleasure in my life.
I release any shame around pleasure.
Simple pleasures nourish my soul.
I recognize that my interpretation of the cards is largely based on reflections of my personal life experience and you may or may not resonate with what I share. I find that sometimes by sharing what’s going on in my life, others may find that they are going through something similar in their lives. It’s important to know that you are not going through this journey of life alone.
I highly encourage you to look at the cards as well and feel into the messages and energies of the cards yourself.
Read the messages and notice what sensations come up. Do you feel light or tense? Look at the images of the cards, and notice what draws your gaze. What thoughts and feelings arise? Do you like or dislike the card, or certain elements in the image of the card? Why is that and what does it remind you of?
Your intuition is your inner compass. My intuitive soul card reading only serves as a reference point, an invitation for you to reflect and ponder and to work your magic. I don’t claim to predict the future, nor can I do that. Take what you resonate and leave what you don’t.
Card reading is a great intuitive tool for us to find some clarity and guidance in our own life, but remember ultimately you are the one who get to decide and live the life you want.
Enjoy reading and feel free to let me know your thoughts, questions and sharing by email.
