KEYWORD FOR THIS LUNAR CYCLE:

REST

“If you nurture your mind, body, and spirit, your time will expand.
You will gain a new perspective that will allow you to accomplish much more.”

WHAT IS THE KEY MESSAGE FOR THIS LUNAR CYCLE?

Card Deck: The Spirit Animal Oracle by Colette Baron-Reid

53. Seahorse spirit – Watch and wait.

In this lunar cycle, the Seahorse spirit card reminds us to put our judgments, reactions, filters, and perspectives for a rest, and learn to observe from a neutral perspective.

Whatever drama is bubbling up or encircling around you, this card reminds you to take a rest from engaging and reacting. Watch and observe before jumping to any conclusion, and stop taking everything personally.

Seahorse’s eyes are designed to see simultaneously in opposite directions. This is a great reminder to examine our own perspective. Do we need things to follow our own perspective only? Are we right all the time? Is it our way or the high way?

Or is there an alternative perspective that we can be open to and consider?

This reminder is especially helpful when we are working with our own limiting beliefs. We may have multiple dreams that we want to manifest and realize, but our inner critic kicks in to start questioning and doubting that if we are ever good enough to do so.

I’ve recently taken the Art of Manifestation online course by Regan Hillyer hosted on Mindvalley, and one of the exercises she guided us to do in order to rewire our belief system is this:

Write down all the limiting beliefs you have around your dreams and manifestations, any blocks, fears, hesitations, doubts that you can think of.

Then for every limiting belief, write down 3 new beliefs that are the opposite perspective.

For example, if my current belief is that I’m afraid that I need to work more and have less time with my kids in order to earn more money, then the 3 new beliefs may look like this starting with “I choose to believe”:

  1. I choose to believe that money flows in with ease and grace even when I’m resting and playing with my kids.
  2. I choose to believe that I have more than enough time every single day to work, to play, and to have time for myself.
  3. I choose to believe that time is my ally and I have a great relationship with time.

Read your new beliefs out loud to yourself and tune into how you feel. If you feel a resounding yes in the core of your being, you are right on track. If you feel there is still some hesitation, perhaps there are more limiting beliefs to uncover and to rewrite. And trust me, more will surface as you continue your manifestation journey.

Another message from the Seahorse spirit card is to focus on yourself this month. Stop putting energy into other people’s drama, and stop trying to fix other people or the world. All healing begins within ourselves.

As we delve deep into our own inner healing journey, inevitably we must take time to rest. Just like a male seahorse barely moves when he is pregnant, we are reminded to listen to our bodies and fill up our inner well first.

Resting doesn’t mean that you have to lie down and sleep on your bed the whole day.

In another blog that I collaborated with Youmin Yap, rest coach and forest therapy trainer, we shared that there are 7 types of rests: physical, emotional, mental, creative, social, sensory, and spiritual (read the blog here).

Which type of rest do you crave for this lunar cycle? Pay attention and honor the rest that your body, mind and soul need.

Meditation is another great way to learn to cultivate mindfulness and be aware of our own thoughts and perspectives.

When we are able to step back from our own limited point-of-view, we can then see the big picture. And the big picture is filled with a myriad of possibilities for us to explore and discover, and who knows what we will find?

Perhaps when we open up to a new perspective, we are also opening up to new potential and gifts, renewed strength and trust, beauty, wisdom, and love.

Daily Reflection: Today, I observe _[my thought of this / my belief of this / my feeling about this]. What if [the new perspective of what you observe] can be true?

Try This Affirmation
I am opening up to new perspectives.

Repeat this affirmation as often as you need during this lunar cycle. A great tip is to write your affirmation on a piece of paper and place it somewhere you can see every day as a reminder.

You can refer to my blog here at Museflower’s webpage on a simple guideline on how to write your own affirmation.

Feel free to change the words to make it 100% aligned to you.

For example,

I am open to new perspectives.

I trust my body.

I trust in the healing power of rest.

I focus on my own healing.

I focus my energy on me.

REMEMBER TO TAP INTO YOUR INTUITION

I recognize that my interpretation of the cards is largely based on reflections of my personal life experience and you may or may not resonate with what I share. I find that sometimes by sharing what’s going on in my life, others may find that they are going through something similar in their lives. It’s important to know that you are not going through this journey of life alone.

I highly encourage you to look at the cards as well and feel into the messages and energies of the cards yourself.

Read the messages and notice what sensations come up. Do you feel light or tense? Look at the images of the cards, and notice what draws your gaze. What thoughts and feelings arise? Do you like or dislike the card, or certain elements in the image of the card? Why is that and what does it remind you of?

Your intuition is your inner compass. My intuitive soul card reading only serves as a reference point, an invitation for you to reflect and ponder and to work your magic. I don’t claim to predict the future, nor can I do that. Take what you resonate and leave what you don’t.

Card reading is a great intuitive tool for us to find some clarity and guidance in our own life, but remember ultimately you are the one who get to decide and live the life you want.

Enjoy reading and feel free to let me know your thoughts, questions and sharing by email.
