KEYWORD FOR THIS LUNAR CYCLE:
PAUSE
“Through the sacred art of pausing, we develop the capacity to stop hiding, to stop running away from our experience. We begin to trust in our natural intelligence, in our naturally wise heart, in our capacity to open to whatever arises.”
― Tara Brach, meditation teacher and psychologist

WHAT IS THE KEY MESSAGE FOR THIS LUNAR CYCLE?
26. For the Wind That Blows Our Sails
In this lunar cycle, only when we allow ourselves to take a pause, then we can truly move forward in life.
It’s a paradox really. When I first picked the card, I was also confused. Why is the key message for this lunar cycle all about moving forward, expansion and coming out of the slow period when the theme is all about pause?
Then I read something about shavasana, or corpse pose in yoga, and a little light bulb went off in my head. If you have experienced shavasana before, you may understand this sensation – you lie down on the mat, you imagine your body is sinking down onto the floor, and your body is getting heavier and heavier. Then there comes a moment, when you completely surrender and let go, that you will suddenly feel light and weightless and maybe even floating, though you are just still lying down on your mat.
Shavasana teaches us more than rest. It is also about letting go, death and rebirth. When we completely surrender, there is a mini death of the ego and the mind temporarily.
As Isabelle Pikörn, the chief editor of Insight Timer blog, beautifully shared in her blog on the meaning of shavasana, “It’s in savasana that we practice the very important task of doing nothing, in both body and mind. When we lose ourselves as the actor, bliss arises.”
So let’s take a pause here and think about how we can find our daily pauses, or shavasana, where we can let go and completely surrender.
Personally for me, since we are closing Museflower Retreat & Spa for two weeks in March, I’ll be going on a 4-week holiday where I’ll be traveling to four different countries. I’ll be doing a lot of things for sure, but hopefully not much work. From taking a break from work, I know that I will feel refreshed and renewed when I come back to Thailand in April.
So follow your intuition and ask your heart what you need to take a break from this lunar cycle. Maybe it’s work. Maybe it’s relationship. Maybe it’s your constant worry about money or health. Sometimes it doesn’t even need to be a long break, but just a conscious effort to make time for a pause for yourself can do wonders.
If you are faced with decisions, and find yourself going back and forth in your mind instead of feeling a sense of knowing in your heart, take a pause here. Sometimes events need to unfold for an unexpected option to open up and that’s when you will know it is time to decide.
When we look at the image of the card, there is definitely a sense of moving forward and expansion but it is not rushed. It is going into a flow that is aligned with your highest good and your growth.
And if things seem chaotic around you this lunar cycle, remember to find small moments where you can quiet down and recharge by yourself, whether it’s through journaling, meditation, a mindful walk in nature, or lying down in shavasana on your bed and taking a few deep breaths in before falling asleep.
Wayne Dyer once said that “all creativity requires some stillness.” So in this lunar cycle, remember to savor the sweetness in stillness, the restfulness in pause, and the bliss in just being. You may then find yourself sailing along with the wind, flying ahead with new ideas and inspired actions.
Daily Reflection: Today, I take a pause from ____________.
Repeat this affirmation as often as you need during this lunar cycle. A great tip is to write your affirmation on a piece of paper and place it somewhere you can see every day as a reminder.
You can refer to my blog here at Museflower’s webpage on a simple guideline on how to write your own affirmation.
Feel free to change the words to make it 100% aligned to you.
For example,
I trust in the power of pause.
I let go and surrender to the flow of Universe.
I take a pause in [insert area of your life].
I am worthy of rest.
I savor the sweetness in pause.
I recognize that my interpretation of the cards is largely based on reflections of my personal life experience and you may or may not resonate with what I share. I find that sometimes by sharing what’s going on in my life, others may find that they are going through something similar in their lives. It’s important to know that you are not going through this journey of life alone.
I highly encourage you to look at the cards as well and feel into the messages and energies of the cards yourself.
Read the messages and notice what sensations come up. Do you feel light or tense? Look at the images of the cards, and notice what draws your gaze. What thoughts and feelings arise? Do you like or dislike the card, or certain elements in the image of the card? Why is that and what does it remind you of?
Your intuition is your inner compass. My intuitive soul card reading only serves as a reference point, an invitation for you to reflect and ponder and to work your magic. I don’t claim to predict the future, nor can I do that. Take what you resonate and leave what you don’t.
Card reading is a great intuitive tool for us to find some clarity and guidance in our own life, but remember ultimately you are the one who get to decide and live the life you want.
