WHAT IS THE KEY MESSAGE FOR THIS LUNAR CYCLE?

Card Deck: Soulful Woman Guidance Cards by Shushann Movsessian & Gemma Summers

28. Power of my voice – I speak my truth and express my feelings to others with care and compassion.

Coming into the last lunar cycle in 2022, we are reminded to embrace ourselves, people around us, and the world with love and kindness through our words.

What we say matters. And this includes our internal dialogue to ourselves.

The holiday season is usually jampacked with activities, gatherings and celebrations. That means we may be meeting people we may or may not want to. Some internal patterns may surface, and through conversations and situations, we may get triggered and our ego will want to strike back immediately to protect us.

It is important to express our feelings. It is important to speak our truth. However, how can we do so with wisdom and love?

We start with our internal dialogue. Do you clearly know what you want before expressing your needs to others? Do you know what your boundaries are before saying yes or no to others? And most importantly, do you speak kindly to yourself?

Embracing every part of ourselves is an act of self-love. When we speak kindly to ourselves, then we are truly embracing all parts within ourselves – the good, bad and ugly. In other words, we embrace both our light and shadow.

A simple yet powerful daily practice is to honor and acknowledge an emotion that is coming up for you by saying it out loud to yourself.

In our society, we tend to celebrate positive emotions only. Because negative emotions, such as anger, grief, resentment, pain, shame, guilt, are usually frowned upon, we want to hide them. Especially in the holiday season, who wants to be the sour face, the grumpy grooge who is making everyone else uncomfortable? So we pretend to be okay on the surface, even though inside we are either boiling ready for an eruption or shutting down to be numb (then we manifest our reality by becoming the grumpy grooge anyway).

When we allow ourselves to acknowledge our emotions by saying it out loud to ourselves, it’s like the pink elephant in the room is finally named. The point is not to force other people to hear what we have to say. The key is to give space to ourselves, and to listen to what our emotions are telling us.

Simply state “I honor / acknowledge the emotion/feeling of _[fill in the blanks]__ today” as part of your morning ritual or spiritual practice. If you don’t have a practice in place, you can say this to yourself in the mirror after you brush your teeth or shower.

In addition, you can also write the emotion down on a piece of paper, or draw it out and stick it on somewhere you can see. I would suggest doing this for at least one week, and see how you feel. Then if it’s something you enjoy, then keep on going for the entire lunar cycle of 28 days. It is also a great practice to share with your friends and family, but make sure to start and focus on yourself first.

What you say matters. Your thoughts and words will turn into reality, that is how powerful our voice is. When you tell yourself that you cannot do something, or what you want is not possible, then the Universe will only reconfirm with what you say.

But if you are willing to switch up your words just a bit to reframe from the negative to neutral (it doesn’t even need to be positive), for example instead of focusing on what you don’t want, focus on what you want. Instead of saying it is not possible, allow yourself to ponder the possibilities.

Switch up to a more gentle and kind internal dialogue, and know that the Universe is here to support you.

This goes the same with setting your intention and affirmations for the new year. The more you repeat kind words to yourself, the more your brain can believe that it is possible to reach your dreams, that it is possible to do what you love, and that it is possible to feel how you want to feel.

Treat yourself as your own best friend (in fact, you are). We all want to hear encouraging and kind words. So upgrade your internal dialogue to a more encouraging version and gift it to yourself this holiday season. Because you deserve the best (or else who else?) and you are worth every single kind word out there in the world.

Daily Reflection: Today, I honor/acknowledge my emotion/feeling of ____________.

Try This Affirmation
What I say matters.

Repeat this affirmation as often as you need during this lunar cycle. A great tip is to write your affirmation on a piece of paper and place it somewhere you can see every day as a reminder.

You can refer to my blog here at Museflower’s webpage on a simple guideline on how to write your own affirmation.

Feel free to change the words to make it 100% aligned to you.

For example,

I embrace all parts of myself – the good bad and ugly.

I listen to all my emotions.

I am kind to myself.

I am safe to speak my truth.

I love my voice.

REMEMBER TO TAP INTO YOUR INTUITION

I recognize that my interpretation of the cards is largely based on reflections of my personal life experience and you may or may not resonate with what I share. I find that sometimes by sharing what’s going on in my life, others may find that they are going through something similar in their lives. It’s important to know that you are not going through this journey of life alone.

I highly encourage you to look at the cards as well and feel into the messages and energies of the cards yourself.

Read the messages and notice what sensations come up. Do you feel light or tense? Look at the images of the cards, and notice what draws your gaze. What thoughts and feelings arise? Do you like or dislike the card, or certain elements in the image of the card? Why is that and what does it remind you of?

Your intuition is your inner compass. My intuitive soul card reading only serves as a reference point, an invitation for you to reflect and ponder and to work your magic. I don’t claim to predict the future, nor can I do that. Take what you resonate and leave what you don’t.

Card reading is a great intuitive tool for us to find some clarity and guidance in our own life, but remember ultimately you are the one who get to decide and live the life you want.

Enjoy reading and feel free to let me know your thoughts, questions and sharing by email.
